A very unusual portrait that captures our interest and eye. Decisive use of light and color tones make it a very special and unique portrait one will remember for a while.

I am a portrait-only photographer from Germany who prefers to shoot elderly people. My aim is the reflection of characteristical moods and expressions through distinctive physiognomic qualities of models to invoke a certain remembrance in the viewers mind. In this respect I try to avoid posing and the beauty docma at all cost. The characteristical aspect is actually part of yourself, the viewer, since the pictures intend to project visions of your own coinage onto my work. Or, in other words, I try to project memories of your own onto the screen to make you feel the accompanied vibe (which comes out of your own past).
