(Canon 5D MK III, 32mm / F2.8 / 1/160sec) I came across this mother and child on an early morning walk through a mountain village on the Indonesian island of Lombok. She was delightfully curious and had the most piercing beautiful eyes which followed my every move as I walked behind them. It was one of those wonderful moments where you feel a deep connection and empathy with someone, even though you've never met before.
