Layers of daily life, each unique, but when seen from this viewpoint it makes you reconsider things. Very simple and well working composition!

These houses are part of Humleby, a part of Vesterbro which is itself a district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The shot was taken from the top of the Carlsberg Group HQ in 2006 using a Leica Digilux 2. Post processing involved a small crop and a minor amount of burning in around the top half of the image to counter some mist - it was quite a dull, misty day. If you have seen the Danish TV drama series called "The Killing" you may recognise this area as some of the series was filmed on location here.
