This is technically very difficult to succeed and you have done very well here. The sunset red works really well, balancing the composition nicely. The triangle of beach adds so much and creates a strong lead line to the lightning. Great shot, well done.

I took this photo from the 10th floor balcony of my hotel on the beach in Naples, Florida, during a particularly intense lightning storm at sunset. I used a Canon EOS 5D Mark III, EF24-70mm f/4L IS USM on a tripod. 24mm, ISO 400 bulb shutter setting, f/22.
