what a beautiful capture. the colors and tones, the composition of lines, the balance, everything just works. the overall framing is lovely. i actually prefer it without the stucco wall, coming in for a tighter crop of just the wooden frame, so that the interior yellow wall pops even more, but i think this is more a personal preference and can go either way. if it were me, for a final piece, i might photoshop out whatever it is that is wrapped around the bannister as i do find this more 'organic' line a little distracting from the rest of the clean, geometric lines which encompass the cat. beautiful image, and congratulations! ~ illona

Location: Mumbai India - this photograph was shot at Khotachiwadi in Mumbai, a heritage village located just off a bustling street in South Mumbai. I had this very specific frame in mind and the cat made the perfect subject. I loved the geometric shapes and the deep blue offset by the yellow, all framed in a near perfect rectangle!
