Once there were roses, now all there is are its thorns. Still recognisable as such - showing an audience how time moves. The warm evening light underlines the mood. If we look closely, we can see little green leaves - new life to come!

My name is Gina Vasquez, and I am a nineteen year old photographer from New York City. I shoot mostly fine art photography, but there is something I'll always love about photographing nature! I took this last summer while on a walk in one of my favorite parks. This photo was taken with my old Nikon D3000 and a 50mm f/1.8, and edited with Adobe Photoshop CS5.
