Superb use of lighting here and I can imagine a lot of work went to this capture ! Nice control of lights and to give the scene some space and the added red light makes a big difference i think

First of all I would like to thank the judges for selecting my work into the top 10 overall! This shot was taken back in April 2013 with my Canon EOS 5D MkII and the 24-105mm 3.5 L lense. Both cars are customized by the german tuner Sievers-Tuning. The one on the left is a Mercedes G65 AMG with approximately 730HP and the one on the right is the little brother, a Mercedes G63 AMG with about 560HP. Both cars were sounding astonishing! I shot this by using a simple lighttube and my camera. The actual shooting took me about 1-1.5 hrs and postedit took me about 5-7 hrs. As many of you guys know shooting a black car is really really exhausting because of the reflections in the paintjob. Sometimes you think you are shooting a mirror. But in the end it still is a lot of fun maybe exactly because it\'s as hard as it is. If you guys like my work just have a look on my portfolio on my website.
