1st place winner! Well done, brilliant use of light, low vantage point and light painting to create a dramatic and clean image

I'm Damian Hock and an automotive / long-exposure specialist from Cumbria, U.K. This is a 1970 Porsche 911 E that I recently shot for a private client. The shot is composed of 4 separate images, one for the background, two for the light-painting and another for the head / brake lights. I use a Nikon D300 together with a Sigma 24-70 2.8 lens and the car was lit using a cheap ebay 1600 lumen LED torch with a home made modifier attatched to the end. So a very basic set-up that can be achieved by anyone on a modest budget.
