- This is an interesting image ... the shallow depth of field and the high-key style draws the viewer's eye immediately to the details of this horse's lovely face ... mostly those wonderful whiskers. I do wish the exposure was boosted just a little on this image so that we could see more of those amazing features ... but it is a powerful image. Nicely done.

- This is such a fun and dynamic image which makes us feel as though we are the one riding this horse and following the small herd through the surf. The barren landscape really focuses our attention on the horses - both in the blurred foreground and ahead. Nicely captured!

- This is such a dramatic and beautiful image. A well-executed silhouette image, with some incredible back light; and the leaves of the trees in the foreground and the background, give the viewer a real sense of depth. Nicely done!

- This is a wonderful image of these wild ponies splashing through the surf. Beautifully captured and managed in post, the muted tones and shallow depth of field allows the lead horse to seem as though it is running out of the frame. Nicely done.

- What a lovely image of these two fjord horses. The way lines of their maned necks and their heads echo each other, and the soft, cold tones of winter allow the viewer to focus directly on these two wonderful horses. Nicely done.

- What a lovely, pastoral image ... the soft, warm tones give us a sense of the sunset, and the close angle offers a sense of intimacy, as though we are right there next to this grazing horse. Nicely done.
