- This is just a fantastic and instantly favorite image. The framing is strong, and the starkness of the landscape allows for the limited elements to truly stand out ... the red dog, the splash of water, the surf down the shore, the textured beach, and then the dramatic sky ... all work together to create a rich, story-telling image. - Thank you so much! I am very happy that I won. The picture was taken on the Baltic Sea in Germany. Garbor is my friend's dog that I took care of while she was away. It was a very cloudy and dark day but we really enjoyed the walk. The picture was taken with the Canon 1Dx and the 35mm, 1.4 Sigma Art

- What a fabulously unique image ... the framing of the curved lines and the lower positioning of the dog in the frame are expert. The muted greens and details of the plants growing on the other side of the glass and the dog being the only organic elements, make for an interesting juxtaposition.
