  • This image is an immediate stand-out ... not just in the strong contrast -- the clean whites and the very deep blacks -- but also in this cat's attentive, almost proud stance. Beautifully captured and managed in post. Nicely done, and congratulations! ~ illona

  • This beautiful capture of this darling kitten stands out. The soft tones and shallow depth of field give it an almost magical quality. I only wish there was a little more light in the kitten's left eye, but otherwise, a lovely image. Nicely done. ~ illona

  • This is such a fun and comical image. The capture of this cat's expression -- his open mouth and wide eyes -- is priceless. Choosing to present this image in black and white also makes the expression become the key feature. Nicely done! ~ illona

  • This is a striking capture; the contrast of this black cat against the bleached pillar and the soft muted backdrop, along with its bright eyes, allows this cat to stand out. Beautifully captured and managed in post. ~ illona

  • This is a lovely capture of this cat ... the viewer can almost feel its calm presence, and the variety of textures in the stones, mortar, barbed wire fence, and the cat itself, keeps the viewer's eye moving throughout. Nicely done. ~ illona
