  • This is brilliant! We wonder what’s the story behind this image. It is amazingly well framed, black and white is a great choice for it, and not seeing the head of the child in upside-down position makes this even more mysterious. Awesome photograph and congratulations to the winner!

  • Thank you very much for choosing my picture as the winner. It is from my current series, which documents the everyday life of my children. The title of the picture is simply BROTHERS. That says it all. The children played while we waited at the car wash to be next. I took this picture from my car seat. Oliver Raschka, Stuttgart (Gemany), Fuji X100F with Flash EX20.

  • A moment of silence and devotion being observed with this young man. We feel being drawn right into this peaceful situation. Colours slightly desaturated makes us more focused on the essential. The reflection on the polished wooden floor makes this photo even more special.

  • Hannah Budge Portraiture: currently travelling Australia with our 3 boys. I shoot Canon gear and love capturing the little moments. This photo of my youngest was when he was so excited to start doing homeschooling ready for travelling, he would just lay down wherever he was and start doing some Maths.

  • This is a great angle and perspective to view this situation. We enjoy the framing of the subject photographed from above, and how the light is showing in the photo makes it rather superb.

  • One thing I enjoy judging this I-Shot-It Child Competition is getting a wide view into so many different situations in life, from all over the world. I wonder what brings these young people together, in what seems to me an unusual situation. A great example of a skullfully crafted photo, with meaning.

  • Timing is everything, and the photographer did a superb job here. The facial expression of this young man is priceless and having some details of clouds in the sky adds great mood to this photo.

  • Thank you so much for showing my picture here. The title is TILL DEATH. It's the scooters name. It is his fear by death facial expression which makes my laugh everytime I look at the picture. Timeless. It was it worth lying on the ground, waiting for the perfect moment but have this fear too while he is just landing few centimeters beside me. Oliver Raschka Stuttgart (Germany), Fuji X-Pro2 with 18/2mm.

  • Growing up can be so much fun, and the photographer of this photo managed well to share this feeling with all of us. The tonality and colours, as well as the girl’s skin covered with sand is lovely, and her smile is priceless!

  • Thank you for selecting this image for recognition. I thought that it captured the fun she was having. This young lady and her brother were having a great time at the beach on their home island of Ambergris Caye Belize. Like most of the kids that live there, Sunday morning after church is time to play at the beach. I used a Nikon D7000, F9, 1/125, ISO 320

  • The expression of this young person is priceless. The slightly desaturated colours and how the photographer chose to photograph down from above, make this a lovely and pleasant image to look at.
