- Here is a lovely minimal photograph with beautiful thick sun-through-fog lighting, so pleasing to look at, then a distant tree, perfectly balanced between the two main trees, creeps out of the mist. Lovely photograph, well done.

- You have used the long exposure to great effect, really giving those pine trees a beautiful frame to pop out of. Lovely textures and lead lines too.

- Another very minimal shot over these most femininely curved hills. The telephoto lens isolates the hills, exaggerating their forms and enlarging the moon. Lovely work, well done.

- The nice 6 pointed moon star comes from your constricted aperture setting which also gives you the depth of field. You have caught the last of the daylight really nicely bringing warmth to this freezing atmosphere.

- You have mastered the tricky techniques of Milky Way photography and cleverly coupled that with this panoramic view.

- There is an interesting cold hue here and some nice movement in the mist which draws those nice lines over the field. I find the sky a bit annoying though, it conflicts with and steals the interest from the nicer foreground, and that stopped this image climbing higher in this competition.

- This is an unusually minimal shot for a drone (i think it is from a drone) with a balanced composition and nice distribution of space and real texture.

- I guess this is a field of tulips but it doesn’t really matter, your idea wasn’t to show the tulips but to use their striking colours to create this rainbow of lines. It is a different way of looking at a landscape and using the elements to create an abstract image. Nice work.
