  • Fantastic dimensions, lines, light and shade, proportions and composition makes this photograph one of a kind. We can’t help but keep following the conversation from one person to the next, then follow the lines, study the details - then wonder before we do it all again. This is the winner of the I-SHOT-IT photo competition. Congratulations!

  • Thank you very much for your appreciation. My name is Roberto Tavazzani and I'm from Italy. This picture was taken at the National Art Center in Tokyo. Waiting for my wife I was really impressed by the same geometry, a triangle, on the façade of the building and the people on the escalator; a sort of histogram. I used a Fuji XM-1 with Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8 . Post processing was with Lightroom.

  • "How long has this been going on?” you wonder when you see this, and at the same time you relate to it, the force, the age, the size and the purpose of things.

  • Thanks very much for the commendation. This picture was made at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. I used a Sony a72 and a Zeiss Batis 18mm lens. Post processing was with Capture One Pro. To get this close I had to really trust the skill of this young skateboarder.
