  • I love the blue dark scene here, the badger hour. I too photograph badgers and appreciate the work behind this shot. Great image and a near winner.

  • Lovely black bear mother feeding her twins and a very wild forest view. The low angle through the plants and wood make this extra wild. Well done indeed.

  • This round’s fun photo. The vignette holds the eye. I wonder who was most surprised :-)

  • Thanks, I'm honored to get the award. I shot this last year at the Grand Canyon while on vacation. This little guy pop up over the cliff and stared at me long enough to get a couple photos of him before he decided to retreat. I used a Nikon D300 ISO 400 Nikkor lens 24-120 @52 mm f10 1/400s post-production in Photoshop using Alien Exposure 6. Thanks Again, Paul

  • This is a lovely landscape too, nice low light and snowy atmosphere which go so well with these bison. A great wildlife photo often puts the animal in its environment, you have done that very well here.

  • I am honored to receive this award. I took this with a Nikon 7100 and zoom lens, no filter. To avoid overexposure from the setting sun, I shot this from below, angling my camera upward. I adjusted exposure and cropped to 1X1 in the raw file using Capture NX-D. Thank you very much! Kelly
