  • This times winner for the I-SHOT-IT Flower Competition is this stunning and expressionistic photograph. Maybe it was double exposed, or maybe photographed through glass showing reflections, or maybe it was post processed in a certain way. Congratulations to the winner!

  • My flower overlays are done in camera with an Olympus OMD EM1. The camera allows you to take up too 3 raw images and overlay them and control the density on each image. If I want to overlay more than 3 images, I take the product and start over until I get the image that I like. I am Karen Curran, and reside in Durham, NC with my significant other, a little Beagle, named Cristie.

  • We are loving the colour scheme, which is happening in this image. All those rich blue and purple tones, and then being complimented with a bit of yellow and a bumble bee buzzing from above, getting ready to land. Well spotted!

  • One of the most artistic submissions in this I-SHOT-IT photo competition. Beautifully framed and executed. Having the flowers set off a dark grey background, makes all the feature and the beauty of this work of art, extraordinary.

  • Hi my name is Paul Mora and I am from Whittier, CA. I shot this with a Nikon D7000, 18-200mm 3.5-5.6 lens. I did very little post processing using photoshop CS6. This was for a studio lighting class I took last semester at CSULB. I basically had taken dead and living flowers and was going for a dark mood. When I got to the studio I just improvised and this was one of the results that came out of it.

  • Almost like a bird, this flower has a bright appearance with strong colours and pointy shapes. Full of contrast and an amazing dynamic within this image.

  • This is lovely and delicate, with lots of white and some light pinks and green. A beautiful image of flowers in the wild.

  • Thank you so much. I am very honored and deeply humbled at the same time. My name is Tamaki, native of Japan and I started photography about two and a half years ago by taking a class. I love and appreciate everything about photography ; especially, fellow photographers who get me inspired. I took this picture in early September. When I was walking on the street, I noticed a patch of pink and white cosmos on the side of a road. It was around midday, but I shot them anyway as a part of daily practice. I used Canon 6D with 24-105 f 4 lens, and post processing was to only increasing the exposure by 0.50, no clipping or anything else.

  • What we love about this image is its natural feel. Going through a forest and discovering some flowers. You almost can smell the air in this forest.

  • Beautifully composed and executed is this artistic image of woman and a flower. The gentle lines of the female body is complimented by spikes of a rose. The hair colour of this woman go so well with the rest of this image.

  • This is lovely and playful! A couple in the middle of a flower seems unusual, and that is part why we like it so much. What a great idea!

  • The almost translucent paddles of what might be from an apple tree, and the heavy water drops make this a great photo. Also having the flower slightly off-centered is an important element which makes this a great photo.

  • The reflection from the sun as well as the stillness of the water, seem to make time freeze in this moment. Such a rich yellow on a moody dark background - a striking capture this is!

  • My name is Leah Jones, the picture was taken at the Feather River park, Oroville, Ca. I am from Brownsville, Ca. It was taken with no special camera. I simply take pictures that strike me with whatever I happen to have available at the time to capture the moment as sad as that sounds. Thank you so much for enjoying the picture as much as I do.
