  • Oh wow! Thank you so much for the votes and this awesome honor!! My name is Nicki Lautemann and I live in Colorado, USA. I am absolutely obsessed with taking photos of water....hopelessly addicted! This shot was taken at my kitchen sink, with a piece of scrapbook paper for the background. I used my Nikon d5300 with a 50mm lens in reverse as well as a speed flash. That's my favorite way to do these dripping water shots, and any macro with a moving subject. Thank you again!!

    • Thank you for voting for my photo. Michael Orestes, North entrance gate of Yellowstone National Park (Gardiner, MT), shot with an Olympus OM-D EM-1, 12-40mm f2.8 lens, post processing light room. I was driving back into the Gardiner from the park when a large Elk decided to cross the road and stand there blocking my car. I decided this was a good opportunity to take some pictures. Glad I did!

      • Thank you so much for the votes! I'm honored to be among so many awesome photos. My name is Nicki Lautemann and I live in Colorado, USA. I love macro photography and water shots are my obsession. This shot was taken with my Nikon d5300, using a 50mm lens in reverse along with a set of extension tubes. That's my favorite way to take macro shots! I can't wait for all my flowers to bloom; I'll be happily shooting them! Thank you again.
