- This is an older picture when I was just starting to get more serious about my photography. I took it with a Canon PowerShot S3. It was Mother's Day. While visiting with my mom, we were sitting on the back porch when I noticed this little frog. I started following it trying to take it's picture. But he kept jumping away from me. Finally, he landed in the gap between the porch and sidewalk and I got this shot. It was almost like he just gave up and said oh heck just take it. I often think it reminds me of a school photo.

- I am honored to have my photograph awarded with a Mark of Excellence. My name is Wendy Kepko and I now live in Navarre, FL, originally from Bucks County, PA. This was a winter sunset at Gulf Islands National Seashore Naval Live Oaks shot with a Nikon D700, Nikon 17-35mm f2.8 lens, and edited through Lightroom. I am blessed to live in a place where natural beauty surrounds us all through the year. It is fun to explore the Gulf Coast of Florida...there is always something new (to me) around the corner.
