- I am Lewis Tang from Hong Kong and an amateur photography lover. It's most encouraging to receive the Mark of Excellence in the competition. The photo was taken using my Nikon D800, 24-70mm f/2.8 lens at a park near the harbour in Hong Kong in a summer evening right before a typhoon was approaching. A child was playing the swing happily and I caught that moment with the beautiful color of the sky as background. Very minor post processing was done to adjust the contrast and brightness, as the sky itself was already beautiful enough.

- Thanks you for the votes! This is as you can see the Eiffel tower in Paris by night. Picture was taken with a Canon 5d mk2 and the 24-105 zoom lens.

- This was taken on Jekyll Island in Georgia in 2010. I was walking along the beach during sunrise when I noticed the driftwood positioned just right to frame the sunrise. I used the Canon 40D. ISO is 1000 with a f/5.6 with a shutter speed of 1/250.

- This photo was taken in January, 2014 at Lake Palourde in Morgan City, LA right before sunset. I used a Canon 7D with an 18-200 EF lends. My ISO was 2000 (i didn't realize it was set so high) f/14 with shutter speed of 1/2000.

- Thank You for voting. This picture of the burning sky has been taken in Germany near the city Würzburg at dawn of 31th december last year. I used a EOS 6D with Tamron 2.8 24-70 at 24mm 1/4s f16 ISO 100 on a tripod.
