- My husband, Nick Bledsoe, took this shot with our Canon50D & Canon 100-400 mm telephoto lens. We were in Fredericksburg Texas in June and the squirrels were trying to stay cool by stretching themselves across a wooden swingset frame. Back home I edited several of the photos by cropping, slightly sharpening & adjusting the contrast before converting this one to black & white. - Hello my name is Sharon Taylor I am so thrilled and honored to get this badge this is my first contest. This was taken in the hocking hills area in Ohio for the life of me cant not remember the name of the lake . I shot this with my Nikon D40x in manual mode in raw , using a tripod and my moose filter . I used f/22 for a third of a second iso of a hundred , post processing I just sharpen it a tad the moose filter is what made the colors pop

- Thank you all for your votes. I am a photographer from the Portland area. This photo was taken of Mount Hood from Lost Lake, Oregon. It was in early summer soon after the snow had melted enough to get to the lake. The photo was taken with my Nikon D60, focal length 40mm ISO 100, f/6.3, and shutter 1/100.

- Thank you all for the votes on my zebra image. My name is Kelly and I'm a freelance photographer in North Carolina. This was taken with a Canon Rebel 300D back in 2006 shortly after I went digital. I decided to rescue it from my archives and share. Glad I did! Unfortunately I don't recall my post-processing workflow for this image. I have upgraded cameras, lenses, and software several times since then and am always improving my skills & post processing techniques.
