Hi my name is Kristy and I shot this bridge with my canon rebel t3 and my lens was the 18-55mm one that came with my camera. This bridge is located in Ionia, Michigan at the Ionia Free Fair and it crosses the Grand River. I love the rusty look of it and all the lines that zigzag across the top along with the horizontal and vertical lines too. Thank you all for voting for my picture. Took this photo the last day of April 2012 at the Tulip fields in Mount Vernon, WA... my first attempt at some reflection photography using the puddles between the rows. camera used was my sony alpha 550..... special thanks to Washington Bulb Co., Inc...who are responsible for the acres and acres of beautiful tulips, making possible lots of beautiful photos. so excited to get a 'Mark of Excellence' as this is the first contest i've entered on this site. thanks so much- Kelly Makaravage

My name is Susan Marquardt. This photo was taken in my backyard in Oceanside, CA with a Cannon EOS 10D. These Black Phoebe fledglings made a cozy group atop my son's basketball hoop waiting for meal worm deliveries from their mom. I feed meal worms to birds every day and this gave me the opportunity to get up close and personal to this adorable family! I am thrilled to have been awarded the Mark of Excellence, thank you so much!
