- My name is Linda Flickinger from Minnesota and I'm thrilled to get this award! I was sitting on my deck trying to get a picture of the hummingbirds at the feeder when this little show- off struck this pose on the feeder pole. I just thought it was so funny and I had to take his picture! I used a Nikon D90,f/506,1/250 sec and ISO 400.

- I met Presley the Bubblehunter at the park last summer while he was doing his favorite thing. He hunted the bubbles and I snapped. This sweet small dog passed away about 2 months after I took this photo. Rest in Peace Presley you made a lot of people smile. A special thanks to Priscilla who provided access for Presley's photos.

- My name is Debra Rote, I live in Oregon, IL. This picture was taken with my CANNON EOS 60. It is a shot of my Golden Retriever in his dog house on a cold, damp day. His name is X, and he wanted to play ball, but we could not find it. We both searched the whole back yard and never found that ball. Just like a young child he went back to his house and pouted !

- My name is Alexey Pronin; I live in San Diego. This picture was taken at Mono Lake, California. On that December 2004 evening the sky put up a great sunset show, providing a nice background for tufas (limestone formations). I took this photo using Maxxum 7xi camera with Minolta 35/1.8 lens and Velvia100 slide film. I lightened up tufas with Maxxum 5600 flash. The slide was scanned with Nikon CoolScan 5000D scanner. - I am Carol Youorski shooting with a Canon 7D. I live in Atlanta Georgia but this shot was taken at Jekyll Island Georgia at sunrise on Driftwood Beach Feb 18, 2012. I used NIK HDR Efex Pro and Light Room for post production.
