- My name is Carlos Plaza — I am a graphic designer by trade who has had a lifelong interest in photography. I took this photograph from the inside of the Key Biscayne Lighthouse on a very clear and cold Florida day, with my Canon Rebel T2i. I shot several images with different settings, since the low lighting inside and the contrast of the bright light coming in from the outside made it very challenging. - My name is Gregg Williams. I used a Canon 7D and Canon 70mm-200mm F/4 L lens to capture this Hummingbird near it's feeder as I sat on my couch with the window open 5 feet away from the feeder. - Excited to receive the Mark Of Excellence in the Free Competition 2011-11.. Its a great honor this is a picture of SMOKE This picture was shot with a Canon XSI and a Canon 24-70 2.8L Lense. The Off camera flash to light this was a Canon 430EXii triggered by pocket wizards. The Flash was 90* to the camera fired from Right to left. The smoke was generated by incense stick that I found digging threw an old cluttered drawer in the kitchen. Thanks for the votes and thanks for the views!

- My name is Jason Bates. This photo was taken at Lori State Park in Fort Collins Co. Just as the sun was getting ready to set behind the foothills of The Rockies, I got this shot of a rider jumping his bike passing the sun. It took many attempts to get the shot I wanted with a nice silhouette and warm hues from the sun. The camera used was a Canon 60D with a 18 to 135mm EF-S lens the shutter speed was 1/8000 of a sec and the ISO was 320. Thank you very much for the the votes.

- Wow, what an honor!! Thank you so much! My name is Valerie Sassi and I live in Parkersburg, WV. My husband and I were driving down Hwy 21 in Jackson County, WV when I spotted these bugs way back in an over grown field....MADE him turn around and go back!!
