I'm Lasanthi Benedict from Southern California and I took this photograph of a Dolphin momma and baby off the coast of Newport Beach during a Whale / Dolphin watching trip. The captain of the boat estimated the baby to be a few days old based on the size / close proximity to the momma.
I took this photograph with my brand new Canon 60D with a 75-300mm lens and the only post processing done was a minor adjustment for exposure / brightness and it was slightly cropped.
