My name is Glynn McDonald and I live in Runcorn, Cheshire, in the north west of England. This shot was taken using a Canon S2iS and dedicated macro lens (500D). I picked the snail up from the ground and effectively posed it on this complementary tree branch and moved the branch around to find the best bokeh. I'm an amateur photographer specializing in macro and actually had this shot published in National Geographic magazine after I emailed it to them.
