We really like this photo of two water lilies. Not overly processed and well composed and executed, make this the winner of this I-Shot-It Flower competition.

Image by Peter Hewitt (freelance, fine art, landscape photographer). The composition of these two Hardy Waterlilies (Nymphaea 'David') was created right after a rain shower at the summer Waterlily Display, Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA. The equipment and exposure settings used were: Canon 5D Mark II camera, EF 180mm f/3.5L Macro USM lens, exposed for 1/4 sec. at f/22 using a 180mm focal length. Minimal post processing was done using only Lightroom for the conversion of the RAW image into a TIFF, with typical adjustments needed on a 'neutral' RAW image for sharpening, exposure, contrast, saturation, highlights and color. Shooting flowers on rainy, overcast days or in open shade naturally brings out great color saturation. The water drops also help to bring interest and depth to the plants.
