<p>We are happy to announce the winner of this first I-Shot-It Mobile Phone Panorama Competition.</p> <p>The immediate question which we get when observing this image is, why are these guys, with their cases, approaching me? The use of the panorama turns the straight tunnel into a place that feels like it traps us, and we have no escape from whoever these guys are.</p>

Thank you so much for choosing my photo. The shot was taken in New York City, an hour or so before sunset, with an iPhone 5s, and post-processed using the Filterstorm mobile app.

Such lovely balance and composition, with some ambiguity about the guy in the tunnel. The place portrays a sense of the bare urban environment, and while you would read it as an alienating thing, there seems some sense of familiarity about this place, almost a sense of fondness for the potential it offers the photographer.

My name is Jonathan Sisson and I took this photo with my iPhone 4s. The location is the underpass, Queens Drive in Nottingham. It's exactly the sort of place where you would expect to have your mobile phone stolen.. I was taking a panorama when the man in the shot came from behind me and walked into the photo. For post processing I only used Snapseed, with which I raised the contrast a lot to pull the textures out and selective lightening around the man in the tunnel to make him stand out better.

We like the unusual perspective, the muted (bleached) colours and the sense of waiting that is made somewhat ominous by the combinations employed. Very emotional and evocative image, with strange contradictions.

So honored to receive this prize in this competition. My name is Kyo Chen from Taiwan. This photo was taken in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, and I used a iphone5 to take this photo. (Post processing: PixlrExpress+Snapseed.) Democracy at 4a.m. - Late March in 2014 - We don’t trust the decision that our government made, a black-box trade operation. We hope the government can face squarely what we are worried and concerned, we got five hundred thousand people together in three days, we are continuously talking to this arrogant government, using a way of rational and resolute, at the moment of this government almost had forgotten what is the true meaning of democracy.

A lovely autumn scene, peaceful with soft colours. The figure by the canal adds to the sense of place and the atmosphere of the image; it is one that stays in your mind.

The figure is well placed, and it portrays the exhibition clearly and without any narrative; that we can provide ourselves, or perhaps within a broader context of the place, and how this picture would be presented.

Hi these are a collection of WW 2 vehicles that my boss owns. I placed the Soldier and Flag in place and the trucks and jeeps have a nice line up order. The phone used was an AT&T 4S and a little in phone editing with lighting. The location is outside of Daytona Beach. Thank You

A very unusual and creative look at the enormous redwood trees, and the full 180 degrees gives you such an interesting view of the place, the point of view of the photographer.

My names Connor Harris. I took this photo while on a week long road trip to California. Originally we hadn't planned on heading o kings canyon (where this photo was taken) but while in Yosemite valley an old man recommended we stop by. I was having trouble capturing the true massive size of the majestic red woods at 18 mm on the dslr I had just gotten a few months before for graduations kit lense. Then I remembered panorama mode on the iPhone 4S. I panned up the whole tree and noticed I had some more room to go. it took a couple try's to get the whole 180 degrees and I ended up lying on my back To keep from losing balance and tripping backwards. I used camera+ to edit. This photo means alot to me. This trip was like the last hoorah for me and my friends I'd grown up with. about a month later we all moved away from home and I'm glad I could share it

We love Venice, and the way the image has been presented captures the curves that characterise the city’s layout, as well of course, the water.
