  • Simple composition with great lighting, I really liked this a lot. The overall colour tones in this are excellent and the control of the lighting overall across the vehicle has been done really well.

  • Great image that had to be in the selection for me. I really like the stance of the car and space that has been given to the right. My only concern would be that the 'sun' is quite saturated and would love to see that toned down a little. Great image and a great feel to it.

  • Thank you very much for the accolades. I am Maryna Cotton. I am a South African commercial photographer at Photowise. I photographed this beautiful Ferrari on location at a the dealership. I overpowered the ambient light, with artificial light from a speed light, which was double diffused to create the soft lighting and feathering. Nikon D800, 50mm f16, 100 ISO, 1/125s

  • Great shot and love the low angle of this one. I think I would have liked to have seen a little more space given to the car but overall its a great capture and has a real drama to it so well done

  • This is James' Hunt car - Lotus Type 59 - he was racing on Brands Hatch track 46 years earlier. I was very lucky to get a chance to have the track and this amazing car for myself for a while to take photos. I was inspired by Rush film and trying to re-produce the the mood and drama on final pictures. Thank you very much for the Mark of Excellence. I'm glad to see, that I'm not the only one who likes the final result.

  • Simple shot but very well executed, white cars are not always the easiest to light in these situations and the tones across the car are really well executed. Good stance and a good angle on the shot Well done !
