- what an incredible face ... combined with a well-executed photo -- soft tones, shallow depth of field -- this makes for a very memorable image. nicely done. ~ illona

- Camera: Hasselblad 500 CM Lens: Carl Zeiss Planar 80mm Lens Film: Kodak Ektar 100 ASA color negative Scanned to digital by Fuji mini-lab Picture was taken in the morning with natural light. Because I had to use long exposure time (1/15 sec) I simple placed camera on the floor for stability.

- this fun capture is certainly not an easy one with all of the grass competing for focus, and - no doubt - the cat moving towards the photographer. nicely done. ~illona

- This is my cat Mike, he was playing in a patch of grass when I took this shot. To me it resembled his big cousin in the cat family the tiger. I changed to the black and white since he is black I thought it would look better this way than color the way I originally shot it. I did I few touch ups with photoshop Lightroom. Thank you guy for liking my photo it means alot to me! I used a Fujifilm Finepix, with an ISO of 400, 1/60 and F3.1

- this image is pure cat. the depth of shadows is wonderful, although the clutter in the background battles for the viewer's attention. lovely capture of the true feline spirit. ~ illona

- I took this photo in an abandoned shipwreck in Macau. A local mechanic took this place and it is now kind of a car repair shop. He take care of some nearby abandoned cats. I was recently there again and the mechanic told me the poor cat has already passed away. Camera: Olympus E-M5 + Panasonic G Vairo 12-35/F2.8
