What an honor to receive a Mark of Excellence again! Many thanks to all who voted for my picture! I'm Irina Sigl from Bavaria in southern Germany. On the day when the picture was taken, it had snowed for the first time this winter and there was wonderful pastel-colored light. I decided to make a photo tour around the small lake, in which I love to swim in summer. The water was totally calm and reflected the beautiful scenery. I used my Nikon D600 with the Nikkor 14-24mm/2.8.
