I am Kevin Van Sant, a professional jazz guitarist in North Carolina USA. I appreciate the recognition for this photo. There are so many great pictures of kids submitted in this competition every time! This was shot with a Sony a600 and the Sigma f1.4 30mm lens. My almost 3 year old son is my primary subject and the reason for my photography hobby. This pedestrian/bike tunnel is a favorite place of his and I've taken many pictures here. I really liked the way this one came out.
