David W Sussman, This is a photograph taken on the east coast of Florida. The resort town of Jupiter is well known for it's limestone formations that emerge from the the Atlantic to it's shores. The pic was shot with a Nikon D810 on tripod with slow exposure from 1-1/4 second exposure. The difficulty with this image is not what you might think, wind. Yes as the surf crashes against the limestone a fine mist of salt spray covers everything. I used plastic to protect the camera with the lens poking through. After every shot the lens had to be cleaned.
