I am very flattered and surprised to have this photo selected as the winner.Thank you judges and thank you I SHOT IT. The photo was taken near Cannery Row in Monterey,California in May 2016. It was taken with my much loved Leica X1 and is a jpeg straight from the camera with no post processing apart from a small crop. I have been an enthusiastic amateur photographer for nearly 60 years. For me the joy of photography is the search for good photos and nowadays I much prefer the simplicity of a small,simple camera which I can carry easily and use quickly and unobtrusively when I see a scene such as this.
