Premium Photo Competition 2014 4 : Entry Number 57

The fairytale atmosphere of this photograph with teenagers and kids playing outside their homes is what we like about this photo. It operates in what is technically possible, yet it manages to communicate the uncomplicated world of play on a summer evening before bedtime. This is the winner of the I-SHOT-IT Premium Competition.

Thank you for this distinction with the first prize. This photograph was taken in Terceira Island in the Azores. Reading the jury's comment, I got the feeling they were with me that day. Got out of my car and saw the kids playing on that background light. I used the 105mm f2 lens that was placed in my D4 camera, and start shoot from the place I was without interfering with the scene. The goal keeper, on the right, was a surprise (maybe the punctum), because I only saw him when I got home. I congratulate all the participants in this competition. There are great photos here.
