Eating buildings. A hungry and determined monster, this building will be gone in some hours. Then the next one.

A big thank you to the Jury for the nomination, I'm very honored. I took this image named "Beast" in Deggendorf, a small city with roughly 40000 citizens in East Bavaria, Germany. During one of my photo walks I heard loud noise and saw a lot of dust coming out of a side street. So I went for and found beast in action. I shot a complete series (on my website) but this image fascinated me most because of the interaction of harsh sunlight, dust and shadows in combination with this scary machine.
