  • Sanhattan: The name comes from an article in the Friday Magazine of the Santiago (Chile) newspaper La Nación, published on June 2, 1995, with the title "Sanhattan, the Manhattan of Santiago", as an irony of the editor of said magazine, Luis Alberto Ganderats, when comparing the modern development in height of the sector with one of the centers of the world economy, a trend known as manhattanisation. Over time, the term was assimilated by the media, which began to use it to name this urban polygon. Nikon D750, Nikkor 24-85. Capture One, Photoshop.

  • A lovely mosaic of soft pastel rooftops. The swirling lines make this most intriguing. Nice drone shot, well done.

  • Cool with a warm center. A clever view over these streets and buildings somewhere between day and night. The snow is an essential ingredient here, well done.

  • Thank you very for this mark of excellence! I tought this shot would reflect the warmth of those Quebec city neighborhoods in winter, almost as if it was a small model, a tiny world that we can observe as an almighty flying creature. I love those winter evening where everything is so quiet and calm just after a snowfall. I took this shot from a tall building overlooking the city.

  • Clever play with shapes and white balance and an skywards angle which really gives these towers their pride and place.
