  • Well you very nearly scooped the landscape prize with a wildlife photo! Why not, this is also a beautiful landscape.

  • Thanks for the comments and recognition. This was taken on my property one morning this past fall in Texas. Lots of deer here but this one is particularly brave and often allows me to get rather close. Took this one from a bit further back to capture the trees and sunlight around her. Shot with a Leica SL and an SL APO 75mm lens.

  • lovely misty forest scene with a nice emptyness despite all those trees. Shame about the vignette which kept you off the top places.

  • Many thanks to the jury. My name is Fritz Eichmann and I am a photographer from Germany. I took the photo in the Bavarian Forest National Park in Germany. A unique landscape was created there under the motto of nature let nature be.

  • Everything here is correct, there lacks just a little magic to be a winner.

  • This was a time limit photo so to speak. Considering I was on a Tundra Tour through Denali National Park in Alaska in Sept of 2019, and only had 10 minutes of so to compose this "exceptional and amazing" view of Mt. Denali in all it's glory. It's only visible 30% of the time because of it's high elevation of 20, 322'.( MOST PEOPLE DON"T KNOW THIS!?) We got lucky to see only a very thin layer of clouds running across the lower portion of this majestic peak. I also took this handheld with my Canon 5D Mark II with a 24-105mm lens. The result, pure..."MAGIC".

  • Taken about a mile from home in Neatishead Norfolk UK. Walking home the scene is one well known to me, but not seen till that moment, going home for tea after a chilly walk with my Leica SL2. I love a found image and this is a favourite. Taken on January 9 2021.
