- What an absolutely stunning capture and image. The post production on this image has taken it above and beyond the original image, accentuating the light and the long shadows, all seeming to point at the small but outstanding silhouette of the little dog. - I absolutely love this image of a bull terrier perched on a tree root at the perfect edge of this hill. Given the dramatic conversion to black and white, the white terrier stands out, and our eye goes immediately to his turned head and raised tail. I am reminded of The Incredible Journey and can only wonder where this dog's comrades are. Nicely done! ~ illona

- This is a wonderfully intimate capture, beautifully framed with the viewer's attention almost immediately going to the golden's expressive eye. I wish some of the details weren't lost on the white dog due to overexposure, but a lovely moment and memory captured of these two dogs. Nicely done. ~ illona

- This is such a stellar image ... the soft yet deeply vibrant tones of the leaves surrounding this sweet dog create a mysterious and rich setting, allowing for the details of the dog's face -- nose, white hairs, and whiskers -- to truly stand out. Beautifully shot and managed in post. ~ illona

- This is a lovely study of this coarse-haired little terrier. The extremely shallow depth of field along with the choice to convert to black and white creates a very simple yet striking image. Nicely done. ~ illona

- This is a fabulous image. The contrast of these red setters against the cold blue sky and landscape is simply brilliant, and the wind catching the dog's chest feathers accentuates the chilly scene. Beautifully done! ~ illona
