This image's strength is low angle, the fabulous field of poppies, the shallow depth of field and the light. The little dog suits this setting perfectly. I wonder if the image would have even more impact if the dog had been making eye contact with the viewer; the upward angle of his gaze doesn't engage the viewer, but it is still a beautiful image. Nicely done.
