Child Photo Competition 2019 No 4 : Entry Number 7

Congratulation to our favorite submissions to this I-Shot-It Child photo competition! We love how this young lady is reading the book upside down, as well as how the light-source gently touches her arm and hand, and shows the striped outfit of the child. The red apple on the book cover, her red top and pants, as well as a little bit of red in the bed sheet holds this image together nicely. This is a great moment captured, with a little bit of mystery, which is created by a long shadow, as well as darkness around the girl.

This is my daughter at bedtime and this represents her so well. She has a severe delay and some neurological difficulties. This photo kind of shows where she is socially and with schooling. Shot with a Canon 5diii and Sigma Art 50mm.
