My name is F.D. Walker and I am a traveling photographer and blog writer currently living in Istanbul, Turkey. For this photo, I was walking around the Fatih district of Istanbul and saw this women washing her hands outside a mosque. The sunlight was creating a great shadow next her black clothing so I got up close and took a few photos until I got this one. I was using my Leica M9 with a 35mm summilux lens and post-processing was done in Lightroom. Thank you for the Mark of Excellence!
