Reflections always work, so good effort at creating this image, using the shaft of light to your advantage, colours compliment also with hints of pink and blue, so good work.

Thanks very much for this! There were many great photo's entered. My name is James Parkhill and this image was captured during an annual ice show in rural Ontario, Canada. The show is one of Canada's oldest and longest running, nearly 70 years. The 2 hour performance is all volunteer. Equipment used; Nikon D300 and 70-200 lens. Lighting varies and skaters move very, very fast so it's a tricky shoot. Fast shutter speeds and careful metering. Lots of fun to shoot!
