In a field (no pun) of very strong images, how could this image not be a winner? The rich tones, stunning colors and composition are certainly enough to make it a fabulous landscape, but the addition of this happy, fun-loving collie play-bowing to his owner to (perhaps) throw a ball for him, make it SO much richer, engaging, fun and certainly memorable. I have to wonder if the image would have even more impact and drama if the camera angle was a little lower? ... this would allow the owner's silhouette to stand out against the backdrop and give a more immediate sense of the action at hand. Nicely done, and congratulations on a spectacular image.
