Foremost it is the red and the green colours in this photo which suggest Christmas to us. The close up, different textures, as well as the high contrast make this an intriguing photograph to look at and to observe.

Thanks so much! This was taken from home as well on a black backdrop using a ring flash. A Poinsettia who spoke to me! This was shot using a Nikon D3400 with a MACRO lens on a standard 55mm lens. Melanie Mooers
