I really like to look at this photograph again and again. There are so many details to discover. Most of all the different characters. Everyone is looking to another point- this has a dynamic effect and underlines this scene in a good way. Could be a portrait of a family. Their facial expressions are great! I also like the composition a lot. The black and white tones a beautiful- not to strong-perfectly in balance for this scene! Congrats to the winner of the I-Shot-It Street-competition!!

Many thanks for being selected as the winner. This photo was taken during the Holy Week procession in Marsala, Sicily. A short moment where everything fell in place. My name is Willem Kuijpers.
