This is a superb image, and very well executed. Definitely one of our favorite flowers in this competition. The high contrast is superb.

Thank you very much for the "Mark of Excellence". The photo was taken in my garden after the rain with my D3100, using a Nikkor 35mm manual lens I bought in 1971. I am honored with the judge's comment. I live in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. My name is Miguel Bartilotti.
