The play with light and shadow, as well as the rich purple and green looks amazing. Also superb, how all those details of the leaves are being available to our eyes, as the observer.

Thank you very much for this Mark of Excellence. My name is Aleksandra Debiczak and I'm fully qualified photographer based in Glasgow, UK. I took this photo in my kitchen where the natural light that comes through the window creates some interesting shadows on a sunny day. On that day, I let window light do its job. The image was taken with Nikon D800E and Nikkor 50mm lens. To post process this photo I used Adobe Photoshop CC.
