A room with light. This is the type of space you would want to preserve a memory of forever. And this photo does. Very nice work.

Dorie Dahlberg, "Staircase" Bjuv, Sweden. Camera: Nikon FM I bought new in 1980. I recently had this camera overhauled when I decided to shoot film again. I took this photo with TriX; developed with New55 Monobath. After scanning the negatives, I post processed in LightRoom. I was born and raised in the US but my family lives in Sweden. As a retired art teacher, I was finally able to visit my cousins during Midsummer. I could never take a week off at the end of a school year. The night of the solstice, I woke-up at 1:30am and shot this photo of the light from the still-glowing sky coming in through the staircase window. Thanks to the judges!
