Minimalist, almost abstract and such a great picture!

First of all, I would like to thank the Jury for the honor of granting me with this Mark of Excellence. My name is Rodrigo Cabrita and i have been a photojournalist since 2000. This particular photograph was part of a story about child trafficking that I made in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, for the Portuguese newspaper Diário de Notícias, in 2004. I used a Canon EOS-1D camera and a 70-200mm lens. This image is black and white because it was my choice to have the whole story this way.
