A girl with her first experiences as a photographer? What happend? Maybe she is really unhappy with her model that does not stop taking pictures of her. But, dear model: You have captured a really great scene filled with emotiones! Well done!!!

“Sad Shooter” by Ellen Alabach Goodman – St. Louis, MO. I am honored and thrilled to receive this Mark of Excellence. This photo is of my daughter, shot outside our home. Her preschool teacher had just loaned me her Pentax 6x7 film camera. I loaded some Ilford HP5 into the Pentax and a roll into the Holga which she is holding. About 3 or 4 shots in, she decided she had had enough. I started to put the camera down to give her a hug, saw that precious expression and decided to take a quick shot, it became my favorite off the roll. Ilford HP5 - Pentax 6x7.
